Information about privacy when visiting our website and contacting us.

2. Website operation and hosting
When you visit the website, the web server processes your IP address and technical request data to deliver the requested content. This may include the time, requested address, browser information and referring page. Operating and securing the website serves our legitimate interest in a reliable online presence (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
This website is hosted by DD24. Processing locations, the scope and retention of server logs, possible server-side visitor statistics, and any recipients outside the European Economic Area and transfer safeguards still require confirmation.
3. Contact form, email and telephone
We use the information you provide to process and respond to your enquiry. The form requires your name, email address and message; company and telephone details are optional. The selected subject is also transmitted. Your message is forwarded by email to info@jb-sicherheitssysteme.de. The form cannot be submitted without the required details; you can also contact us directly by email or telephone.
For enquiries about a contract with you or steps prior to a contract, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR applies. Other enquiries are handled on the basis of our legitimate interest in business communication (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Our hosting provider DD24 and the email provider used may process the data for technical delivery. The email provider still requires confirmation.
4. Contact form security
When you submit the form, a session with a security cookie is created to prevent unauthorised form requests. A value derived from your IP address and timestamps of submission attempts are also processed to limit repeated requests. This value is not considered anonymous. Attempts within one hour count towards the limit; this does not mean the stored file is automatically deleted after one hour. Actual cleanup by the hosting service still requires confirmation.
Security processing serves our legitimate interest in preventing abuse (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). The cookie required for secure submission falls under section 25(2), point 2 TDDDG. It is configured as a session cookie; the actual session duration also depends on the browser and server configuration.
5. Language preference in your browser
When you select a language, the website saves this preference in your browser as “jb-language” and reads it on later visits. The entry contains only the language code, has no fixed expiry date and can be removed by clearing the website data in your browser. The language is also transmitted in the page address. Storage supports your selected language function (section 25(2), point 2 TDDDG); where personal data is involved, the basis is our legitimate interest in providing this function (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
6. External fonts (Google Fonts)
The Manrope and DM Mono fonts load from Google servers via fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com only after your consent. Your IP address and technical request data are transmitted to Google. The basis is Article 6(1)(a) GDPR; for access to your device, section 25(1) TDDDG applies. You can withdraw consent at any time through the cookie settings with future effect. Without consent, we use your device’s standard fonts. The specific provider, retention periods and safeguards for possible transfers outside the EEA still require review.
7. Linked services and audience measurement
Links to AufmassPRO and other external websites open separate services. When you follow a link, the privacy information of the respective service applies. This notice does not cover use of the AufmassPRO application. No analytics or advertising scripts are embedded in the website itself. Whether the hosting provider generates access statistics still requires confirmation.
8. Retention periods
Enquiry data should be retained only as long as necessary to handle the enquiry and, where applicable, the contract. Statutory retention obligations may require longer storage (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR); establishing or defending legal claims may also justify further retention (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). The actual deletion periods for emails, logs, security files and backups still require confirmation.
9. Your rights
Subject to the legal conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability (Articles 15–20 GDPR). You may withdraw consent at any time with future effect; this does not affect the lawfulness of prior processing. To exercise your rights, contact us using the details above.
Right to object under Article 21 GDPR
Where we process data under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will then stop processing unless we demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds overriding your interests, rights and freedoms, or need the processing for legal claims. You may object to direct marketing at any time without giving reasons.
10. Complaint to a supervisory authority
Under Article 77 GDPR, you may complain to a data protection supervisory authority, particularly where you live, work or where the alleged infringement occurred. For Baden-Württemberg, the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information can be reached through its contact and complaints page.
Your cookie choice
“jb-cookie-preferences” stores your decision about external fonts, the notice version, and the choice and expiry times in local browser storage. Your choice is valid for 180 days. After expiry it is discarded on the next access and you are asked again. You can change your choice at any time or clear the website data in your browser. If storage is blocked, your choice applies only to the currently open page.
Your choice is stored to respect your decision (section 25(2), point 2 TDDDG). Where personal data is involved, this is based on our legitimate interest in managing your preferences in a traceable way (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
