Fire brigade route cards for your fire alarm system
Fire brigade route cards help responders get from the initial access point to the activated detector zone. Building layouts, routes and detector assignments must therefore reflect the actual installation.
Applications
- New fire alarm systems and initial route card sets
- System extensions involving changes to detector zones
- Conversions, new room layouts or changed access routes
Our services
- Cross-check floor plans and the detector zone register
- Show the initial access point and routes for the specific property
- Identify detector areas and relevant landmarks
- Agree the format in accordance with the responsible fire brigade's local requirements
- Record revisions and handover status traceably
Up-to-date plans are the foundation
We need legible floor plans, floor labels, detector numbers and information about fire brigade access. Differences between plans and the installation must be resolved before completion. Output format, quantity, storage and any required approval are agreed for each project. A digital working file does not automatically replace the card set required on site.

Technical framework
DIN 14675-1 includes requirements relating to fire brigade route cards. The responsible fire brigade's local requirements also apply. An identical format for every location therefore cannot be promised as a general rule.
Project coordination
Plan revisions, responsibilities and handover documents are defined at the outset. This enables electrical contractors, designers and operators to coordinate the next steps.
Collaboration for project partnersFire brigade route cards: frequently asked questions
When do route cards need updating?
Changes to detector zones, detector positions, floor plans or access routes require a review. A changed fire brigade access point may also require revisions.
Are digital route cards sufficient?
The output and availability format depends on local requirements. A digital version alone does not automatically meet the requirements for keeping cards on the premises.
Can existing route cards be revised?
Yes, if up-to-date plan and system data are available. We first check whether the existing documents are suitable as a basis.
