Video surveillance for buildings and business premises

An effective video system starts with a clear objective: what needs to be visible, where and under which lighting conditions? We tailor cameras, the network and operation to your property and the defined surveillance areas.

Applications

  • Vehicle entrances and defined access areas
  • Storage and logistics areas
  • Overview of selected areas of business premises

Our services

  • Define surveillance objectives and camera positions
  • Consider fields of view, lighting and cable routes
  • Install cameras, network connections and recording equipment
  • Configure access permissions and user interfaces
  • Check image output and document settings

From field of view to reviewing footage

High resolution alone does not meet the project's needs. Viewing angle, distance, backlighting and night-time illumination affect the usable image. Access rights, recording scope and retention periods are agreed with the operator; the responsible party carries out the data protection assessment.

Technical framework

The EN 62676 series covers video surveillance systems for security applications. Applicable planning criteria and the operator's requirements for privacy, access and recording are agreed for each project.

Project coordination

Plan revisions, responsibilities and handover documents are defined at the outset. This enables electrical contractors, designers and operators to coordinate the next steps.

Collaboration for project partners

Video surveillance: frequently asked questions

Can existing cameras still be used?

We check interfaces, image quality, the network and the condition of existing components. Their technical suitability determines whether they can be retained.

Who determines recording and retention periods?

The operator determines these based on the purpose and their legal assessment. Technical configuration follows the agreed requirements.
